May Designated "Foster Care Awareness Month" As Advocates Push for Reform

Foster youth want their voices heard when it comes to fixing what’s been called a broken child welfare system.

“Given the fact that the system is made for the welfare of the youth, it is vital that we include them in the formation of the very policies that pertain to them,” former foster youth Jonathan Hamilton said.
