On Monday, Juvenile Law Center along with Councilwoman Helen Gym, the Philadelphia DHS and the University of Pennsylvania announced the launch of “Youth Matters: Philly,” an online app for young people aging out of foster care.

The app is designed to help youth who are no longer in foster care and struggling with finding housing, employment, health care and other services around the city.

It provides information about local shelters and housing, foodbanks and healthcare providers among other resources and comes as a collaborative effort between the Penn School of Social Policy and Practice, Hack4Impact and Juvenile Law Center.
