Advocates Transforming Youth Systems

Advocates Transforming Youth Systems, formerly known as Youth Fostering Change, offered youth who were currently or formerly involved in the child welfare system the opportunity to evaluate the system and develop and implement a campaign that works toward reform.

Since 2010, Advocates Transforming Youth Systems' youth advocates selected an area of focus, identified a strategy to address it, and implemented their project.  

Projects tackled a range of issues, including educational success, age-appropriate support, foster care placements for older youth, preventing homelessness, and more.
