Rodney Gardner is a Stoneleigh Youth Advocacy Fellow at Juvenile Law Center. He is a community organizer and youth advocate for young people navigating the child welfare and juvenile legal systems. Much of his work in the past has involved case managing, facilitating workshops on youth incarceration and restorative justice, and supporting the creation of bills to change laws for a better environment for our youth.

Before joining the fellowship at Juvenile Law Center, he worked as a community liaison for the Solar Agriculture Program at YEAH Philly in collaboration with Good Energy Collaborative. This program teaches youth and young people about various aspects of environmental justice and provides hands-on experience with the installation of solar panels.

Rodney collaborates with a variety of organizations, such as the Youth Art & Self-Empowerment Project, the Youth Sentencing & Reentry Project, Youth Empowerment for Advancement Hangout and Juvenile Law Center. He is currently a student at the Community College of Philadelphia, where he studies Liberal Arts, Social, and Behavioral Sciences, with hopes of earning his bachelor's degree in psychology or Sociology.
