Juvenile Law Center

I want to discuss the silence in Luzerne County, how everyone was quiet, no one said anything ... even [youth] were silenced by what was taking place. It was only through Juvenile Law Center that we were given voices.

Financial Information

Juvenile Law Center, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, is the oldest multi-disciplinary children’s rights organization in the United States. Working at the national and state levels, we play a leadership role in shaping and using the law on behalf of children in the child welfare and justice systems to promote fairness, prevent harm, ensure access to appropriate services, and create opportunities for success.

Juvenile Law Center serves society's most vulnerable youth. They are most likely to be mislabeled, ignored, harmed, or scarred for life by systems that are supposed to help them. We depend on individuals, corporations, and foundations for financial support. Unrestricted gifts enable us to move quickly as circumstances demand and opportunities arise.
