Hiram G. Andrews Center

Services: The Hiram G. Andrews Center is a comprehensive facility offering rehabilitative, educational, vocational, life management, and counseling services. Students who have passed the age of compulsory school attendance and can benefit from training received at HGAC may enroll in continuing education.

Teen Parenting Program at Greater Johnstown School District

Services: Greater Johnstown High School's teen parenting program provides educational opportunities for pregnant and parenting teens. Program includes supportive services, parenting classes, information and referrals, case management.

Pennsylvania Highlands Community College

Services: Offers many programs and courses including two year programs, certificate programs, and continuing education programs.

Greater Johnstown Career And Technology Center

Services: GJCTC provides career-technical education programs and services to youth and adults offering specialized mastery of construction, culinary arts, transportation, health, manufacturing and services. Continuing Education programs are also available to older adults seeking to gain specialized skills.

Admiral Peary Vocational Technical School

Services: APVTS provides vocational education to secondary school students, out-of-school youth and adults in a geographical area comprised and operated by one or more school districts. APVTS offers advanced technical training, and pre-professional programs for high school students and adults.

Services: Adult Basic Education, Literacy services including Family Literacy, Workplace services, Move-Up services and Distance Learning services. Classes offered mornings and afternoons. Programs located in Blair and Huntingdon counties although open to anyone within the Southern Alleghenies WIA.

Southern Alleghenies Planning And Development Commission

Services: SAPDC provides Employment and training programs, skill training, work experience, GED preparation, basic education, career exploration, job development, case management and supportive services

The Family Center

Services: The Family Center assists in linking individuals and families with available community resources. Current programs include: Grandparents as Parents, GED classes, free computer training and computer lab, fatherhood initiative, motherhood initiative, medication assistance program, parenting training

Cambria County Literacy Council, Inc

Services: Cambria County Literacy Council helps to provide literacy services to disadvantaged families and individuals. Services include one-on-one tutoring in subjects of Reading, Writing, Spelling, Math, ESL classes and Civics and Citizenship Preparation.

Services: Adult Basic Education, Literacy services including Family Literacy, GED Preparation, ESL classes, Workplace services and Distance Learning services. Classes offered mornings and afternoons.
