Referrals Charities Diocese Of Pittsburgh

Services: The Catholic Charities Diocese of Pittsburgh is a social service agency in which services in housing, adoption, counseling, safety and stability, health care for the uninsured, housing and homeless, pregnancy and parenting, refugee and senior services are offer. For housing, mainly serving residents of Bulter County, programs such as Safe Harbor Program, HOPE Program, PATH Transitional-Age Project for Young Adults and St. Joseph's House of Hospitality are offered, serving individuals with supportive and transitional housing with a shelter up to two months. Fair Housing/Equal Opportunity at HUD

Services: Hotline service for individuals to report incidences of housing discrimination.

National Runaway Switchboard

Services: Toll-free, nationwide hot-line for runaways and troubled youth. Provides information and referral for shelter, counseling, medical and legal services and transportation back home. The hot-line also provides a personal and confidential message relay service between runaways and their families.

City Rescue Mission

Services: City Rescue Mission is a Christian ministry providing services in housing, food banks, and spiritual services. Shelters for both men and women/children are provided in which food and shelter is offered from 1-90 days with counseling and recovery.

Safe Journey

Services: Safe Journey is an organization aimed at securing women and children's safety from any form of violence. Services include a 24-Hour Hotline, Individual Counseling, Emergency Shelter, Safety Planning, Protection from Abuse (PFA) Assistance, Court Accompaniment & Transportation, Information & Referral, Possible Financial Assistance, Parenting After Domestic Violence Classes and more.

The Lighthouse Foundation
