Michael Ruger is Senior Director of Government Affairs of Comcast Cable Communications, LLC, where he is responsible for coordination of video franchising issues affecting Comcast’s obligations and compliance with federal, state and local laws and regulations. Michael previously worked in the Mass Media and Cable Bureaus of the Federal Communications Commission and was an associate at Baker Hostetler specializing in communications. Michael is a graduate of The Pennsylvania State University, where he majored in political science and psychology and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. He received his law degree cum laude from the Georgetown University Law Center. Michael lives in Pennington, New Jersey, with his wife, Theresa Vogler, and their three children.
