Staff Attorney

Natane Eaddy joined Juvenile Law Center as a Staff Attorney in September 2016. Previously, she worked with the Annie E. Casey Foundation’s Child Welfare Strategy Group as a Program Associate to improve outcomes for children in foster care through various child welfare reform efforts with several public child welfare agencies.

Natane graduated from Northeastern University’s School of Law. While in law school, Natane served as a Lawyering Fellow for the school’s Legal Skills in Social Context course, where she helped first-year law students develop critical lawyering skills in research and writing to design a sexual assault safety program for high school students.

Natane also served as a student advocate with NUSL’s Domestic Violence Clinic, where she represented victims and survivors of domestic violence in temporary protection order hearings.

She completed four co-op opportunities devoted specifically to public interest law with the Honorable Stephen Limon of the Boston Juvenile Court, the Atlanta Judicial Circuit Public Defender’s Office, the Fulton County Child Attorneys’ Office in Atlanta and the U.S. Department of Justice’s Civil Rights Division, Criminal Section.

She holds a Master’s of Science in Social Work with a focus on Policy Practice and minor in Law from Columbia University’s School of Social Work and a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology with a concentration in Pre-law and Criminology from Spelman College.
